Happy Wednesday!

I hope everyone is doing fab! I am feeling great after a 2.5 hour workout last night.. Tonight I'm trying a P90x work out and then doing some sunless tanning. My bestie and I always get together once a week to have a girls night. Nothing like some wine and girlie stuff to relax. Tonight is about tanning! I'll take some pics tonight and tomorrow so you can see how nice this tan comes out to be! brown not orange and no streaks!

Insane Love!!

Whoa! Ok, my body is 103 degrees right now! I took my day 2 work out outside (at night) and I burned up! I'm truly falling in love with this work out. 45 minutes of pure torture!!

I can honestly say that I was a bit "iffy" about these DVD sets BUT I gave it a try and I cant get enough. I am looking forward for my progress. I slept like a rock last night and felt good about myself actually making it through my work out.

Well, it's time for a shower and bed time!

Insanity Day 1!

Hiii! Its very late but I wanted to get my scores up on my Fit Test for the first week. I also posted a video right after I finished...Yeap! it kick my butt... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5nDIWMGG2s

Anyways! Here are my scores:

(8 exercises, reps x 1 minute)
1. Switch Kicks (2 kicks = 1 Rep) = (low kicks) 65
2. Power Jacks = 35
3. Power Knees = 50/ (in the video you only do one side but I did 50 at the end to the other leg) :)
4. Power Jumps = 20
5. Globe Jumps = 6 -_- (these are harder than I thought)
6. Suicide Jumps (burpees) = 10 (ughh shoes slipping and got outta breathe!)
7. Push - up Jacks = 20 (I did plank jacks held for count of 5 each)
8. Low Plank Oblique (Plank w/ Side Knee Tucks) = 35 (again shoe slipping on tile but still got sore)

Over all I am happy I got through it. Haven't had a decent work out in quite some time. Laura was a great inspiration for me to even purchase Insanity. This is her YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/LAURAmustLOSEWEIGHT?ob=0

I will spend some time after I shower planning more in detail everything I will be doing but for now it's work from 8-5, Insanity 6-7 or at 11pm (like today), and maybe next week I will add extra work outs in the morning.. I'm not exactly new to this working out world - just got lazy the last year or two....

Welcome + HCG Week 4/6 Update!

Hi Everyone! 


I decided to create my blog anyways! Like I said in my previous videos on www.youtube.com/elliegetsfit, when i say fit i mean THE WHOLE PACKAGE: physical, mental, emotional, spiritual! That means to expect all sorts of great stuff on my sites! Before I begin rambling on I would like to welcome you to my madness and hope you enjoy everything! Check out my video from Saturday 3/31 to hear about my week 3 update and like that I don't sound like a broken record!! :-) On that note; I do feel much better since yesterday and I want to make the best out of week 4. Like most of you know I am not updating on a daily basis but I do update every once in a while when I feel I have enough to make a video. Now for blogging it's a different story because I have soooo much I want to talk about and it's easier for me to set up a blog with pics and links to show you. As for HCG I will post my before and afters here as well as my measurements too (my next blog post).
